I think it is important that a potential web client likes the style of a piece or collection. I love it when clients are not afraid to say … “ I want my logo to look like anti American soviet or 1970 disco iconography. The client says does that make sense to you? You say yeah and you get really excited. That special kind of creative excited when you just have a feeling you can rock it out.Take risks, imagine big. This is a list of conditions for fresh fast and bold original web and print art for logos and branding. Please send an idea if you still can dream and challenge and trust someone to make it a reality. I am really excited to get started.
My biggest Influences: Shepard Fairey my husband was at RISD when you were there. Strangely someone stuck an OBEY Poster on my blog. Ode to the Andre the Giant days. “can it be that it was all so simple then?” Good Work mate!

Permaculture integrates people with nature and lets everyone contribute to a solution. It cuts down on gas to transport food and creates community. The techniques can genuinely teach cultures useable trades that can produce self sustainability and the project of promoting and teaching permaculture is an invaluable tool that can easily become an outlet for bridging cultural gaps. Not being covered too extensively in the U.S. News, Mexico is in increasingly dangerous shape due to drug related violence and police corruption. Smuggling tunnels have been dug underground in attempt to move the drugs to the U.S.
The Mexican people are also struggling with increasing addiction in their own communities and are being killed in the cross fire of the war between Mexican drug cartels.
As Mexico press is censored many U.S. photo journalists have joined forces to capture this tragedy from the front lines. It remains to be seen as far as which cartels will win and when or what will be done about their military grade weapons like AK-47s (from the U.S) that they can afford to buy in mass and are purchasing and using against each other. They also allegedly have video cameras and have posted propaganda against each other on YouTube. Read the rest of this entry »

Wrath of the Lich King is everything I hoped it would be. The highlight so far was definitely when King Mrgl-Mrgl taught me the Winterfin Murloc tongue. This quest is awesome you get to go underwater, are given a special breathing potion and capture some soul juice or something in a conch shell for the king, which reminded me of the Sea witch in the Little Mermaid. Anyhow it’s like Blizzard read my mind and knew I always wanted to be able to speak Murloc. They already do have me killing their Murloc enemies across the lake. It could be the shortage of Clam Meat regardless I think this will be great for networking.
Here is a nice Murloc RPG in case you also have been experiencing Murloc envy.

How To Make Money with Social Media
Watch this video, then read my rant if so inclined.
After being unapproved for commenting on their blog I wanted to exercise my freedom of speech and share my comment after watching this ’How To Make Money with Social Media’ video post. What is with the anti woman sentiment some of us have Computer Science and Multimedia careers and way to totally exclude us. Comments like a few I hear on this clip make you less credible with ½ of your audience. Ladies ‘can ‘party’ too and it seems you would not invite any. Your sites are very template based an non-artistic and I think you should invite me to the party to help you out because this ebook selling tactic is like a bad horror movie that I cannot stop watching Perry. I hope it is working out still for you but is it really? If so I want a job. Seriously.
“Men might understand this more than women do. Well “Arrrg Scream” (in a mumble) Guys are all about what do you do for a living, that’s what everybody talks about.”

As it is the rainy day before Halloween it’s a good day to focus on my garden. Does anyone else to grow trees from their avocado pitts? Here is a resource for a few of the things you might be doing wrong / not doing. Look at those roots!
Check out today’s Yelp on ‘The Dry Garden’ in Oakland, CA. Written after I added two beautiful white sage plants to my collection this morning.

Can’t have pet’s in your new apartment? No problem Google has you covered. The new T-mobile phone, the G1 offers state of the art SMS text messaging system and of course great internet access powered by PhindMe. This phone is $179.00 and requires a two year contract. Listen to this enthusiastic Public Radio Marketplace show where you can hear the purr feature and the phone features described in detail. The purr technology is described as ‘the biggest waste of memory’ that Kevin Pereira from G4TV ‘has ever seen in his life’, but it sounds so worth it for the cute companion factor. While the phone is in pet mode you can have your screen show fur, just like a real petable pet. The phone also shakes when it is petted. The use of Android technology Software development kit is freely downloadable on their website. This development project is described as an open handset alliance project and surely motivates and encourages development with its open source, all brains invited philosophy. Nice job!
