Lee Musselman is a mixed media sculptural artist currently exhibiting in Hudson, N.Y. He often uses dolls juxtaposed with various objects. In one of my favorite pieces her replaces a tiny gnome like doll’s legs with upside-down wooden bed post tops.

Regarding Voting Machines

After the recent economic panic scene and the buyout of Washington Mutual (Fanny and Freddy, ect.) the less we should have to take on faith and face value in our lives as Americans, the better and more secure we will feel. What happens to the fabric of society when what is to be trusted is corrupted, misused by the selfishness of people, and therefore up for debate as trustworthy altogether?

Like money, the voting system can not run fairly on a ‘take our word for it basis’. Teams of fact checkers from both parties should be allowed access to code and or need to engage in a mandatory recounting of the voting paper trail. This cannot be a ‘hands off’ thoughtless, free for all process. The microchip should be equipped with a motion detecting alarm after the open source code is double checked by IT professionals from both parties.

Ready … Set … Garden!

The backyard garden here is doing nicely. We have Onion chives, radishes, squash, cucumbers, green peppers, tomatos, and a magical supply of green beans.
East Bay Planting guide reminds me, I think it is time to plant garlic again already.
